What a month for Second Nature events!
We’ve just wrapped up one of the busiest (and most rewarding!) months in our events calendar!
We have just finished delivering 10 inspiring events and workshops right across the region in November, all made possible through the power of collaboration.
From Gardens Connect Us with Sophie Thomson in Strathalbyn, to Your Thriving Summer Garden with Alan Shepherd in Mount Barker, Native Seed Collection at Monarto South, guided wetland walks with local schools, the Laratinga Bird Fair, and so much more - this month has been overflowing with learning, connection, and hands-on nature action.
What truly stands out is the community spirit behind every activity. We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our funding partners, landholders, presenters, volunteers, and community members - all coming together to share knowledge, celebrate nature, and inspire meaningful action.
Our nature education events help bring our organisational goals to life - building awareness, strengthening stewardship of local biodiversity, and fostering strong partnerships that encourage people to connect deeply with nature.
This month showed just how powerful collaboration can be. Together, we’re creating stronger, more connected, and more nature-positive communities. 💚
