Turtle Workshop Wrap-Up!

What a fantastic morning we had in Victor Harbor last Friday! With perfect weather and a keen group of turtle-loving locals, our first turtle workshop was a huge success.

We explored the two turtle species found in the region, took a walk along the river in search of nesting activity, and shared how to use the TurtleSat app to record sightings - a simple way anyone can help protect these special creatures!

We also chatted about the best revegetation practices for turtle conservation (because healthy habitat = happy turtles 🐢💚).

A big thank you to the Environment and Sustainability team at the City of Victor Harbor for their support, and to the Friends of Hindmarsh River Estuary for their enthusiasm and ongoing care for this beautiful river system.
