Join us for a morning of community and conservation as we create new habitat for native wildlife by planting a diverse range of local native species.
Be part of a community effort to bring more life, habitat and biodiversity to Jupiter Lyons Park in Milang.
Join Second Nature and Alexandrina Council for a hands-on planting morning focused on restoring local biodiversity and creating valuable habitat for native wildlife. Together, we’ll plant a diverse mix of locally native overstorey, midstorey and understorey species designed to support a healthier and more resilient landscape.
This is a great opportunity to connect with others, spend time outdoors, and contribute to a project that will benefit the community and environment for years to come. No experience is necessary, and all planting tools and PPE will be provided. After a busy morning planting enjoy a light lunch (provided). Feel free to bring a chair if you wish.
🌿 What you need for the day:
• Weather-appropriate clothing (sun, wind or rain)
• Sturdy footwear such as work boots or gumboots
• Water bottle and coffee cup
Join us for a rewarding morning outdoors, meet like-minded community members, and play a hands-on role in restoring and enhancing Milang’s natural environment.
This project is proudly funded by Alexandrina Council.
