What does a Nature Conservancy Organisation do?

We Foster Environmental Knowledge and Stewardship…

We foster environmental knowledge and stewardship among the community; caring for our environment in multifaceted ways by;

  • Promoting environmental and agricultural resilience and sustainability throughout the community;

  • Undertaking actions to assist in managing the impacts of climate change;

  • Conserving and restoring biodiversity, particularly across the South-Eastern Mount Lofty Ranges and around the Lower Lakes;

  • Improving the health of creeks, rivers, wetlands and coastal systems;

  • Assisting with the implementation of sustainable land management and farming systems;

  • Monitoring and evaluating our on-ground works, and;

  • Working with all levels of government, collaborating with other environmental organisations and the community.
