Alexandrina Greening and Wildlife plant packs is an annual project to encourage residents of the Alexandrina Council to plant local native species in their gardens.
Packs of 10 local native plants are available for $10, subsidised by Alexandrina Council. The species are selected for their biodiversity value and suitability for the home garden. Packs are limited and always sell out, so be quick!
You will receive a pre-packaged selection of species which may include grasses, sedges, groundcovers, and small to medium shrubs. Examples of species in the 2026 packs include Billardiera cymosa (Sweet Apple Berry), Rhagodia candolleana (Seaberry Saltbush) and Austrostipa elegantissima (Elegant Spear Grass). Please note, due to the volume of plants we are unable to swap species. You can download the species list HERE.

Kessell Road, Goolwa - next to the Council Depot
Please note, this will be the only location that plants can be collected from, and we are unable to deliver plants in the event of non-collection.
