As the world quiets at dusk, a new rhythm takes over—one of movement, sound, and unseen connections. Join Alexandrina Council and Second Nature for a special family friendly twilight exploration, where we’ll tune into the flow of nature after dark and discover the tiny but mighty microbats gliding through the night sky.
Guided by Dr’s Martin and Monika Rhodes, wildlife ecologists and bat experts, we’ll follow the flow of energy through the ecosystem, tracing how these insect-hunting acrobats move through our landscapes, connect with their surroundings, and play a vital role in nature’s delicate balance.
After the presentation, equipped with bat detectors we will head outdoors to listen in on the ultrasonic world of these fascinating creatures and experience the night in a whole new way.
