A Workshop From The Nature Education Project
Join us at Cox Scrub to admire and learn about our stunning and unique terrestrial orchids and how you can be a part of citizen science using iNaturalist.
Let's get outdoors, slow down and enjoy the beginnings of spring at Cox Scrub Conservation Park.
Led by Second Nature Project Officer Ky, we will walk along the Stringybark trail to discover the native orchids and other flora present. You will be guided through how to create and upload an observation in the app iNaturalist, and learn how this helps contribute to science and research.
Never used iNaturalist before? No worries! We will show you the top tips for how to make a great observation.
The track is sandy, and can be undulating, so a reasonable level of mobility is needed.
