Supporting Our Swamp-Loving Friends!
Activity From the Alexandrina Community Nursery
We were delighted to donate a few trays of large, ready-to-plant Swamp Gums (Eucalyptus ovata) and Candlebarks (Eucalyptus dalrympleana) to the passionate team at the Yundi Swamp Restoration Network - delivered via the wonderful Martin Smee.
Martin shared, “A big thank you to Second Nature Conservancy and Ben Simon for thinking of us and providing the generous donation of 150 rare eucalypts for the Yundi Swamp Restoration Network. They’ve have been distributed to five properties across the Yundi region and will be in good hands.” 🌱
It’s heartening to see such dedicated work continuing to protect and restore the Fleurieu Peninsula’s rare and precious swamp habitats - places we’ve proudly worked on for many years.
It’s amazing what we can achieve when passionate people come together to care for our environment. A big thank you to the dedicated volunteers at the Alexandrina Community Nursery for their ongoing support and efforts in helping raise these seedlings!
A ute full of goodness
