A Interactive Workshop From The Nature Education Project
Emergency planning isn't just for summer. Be prepared and join us at a free Australian Red Cross EmergencyRedi™ Workshop.
Through these workshops, you will learn about your local risks and the practical, psychological, and social steps you can take to prepare for emergencies and minimise the impacts of disasters and other crises on your life.
Every attendee will receive a free 5L Emergency Dry Bag, perfect for creating your own home emergency kit!
This Nature event is presented by the Australian Red Cross, in partnership with Second Nature Conservancy.

Participating in an EmergencyRedi™ workshop will give you an introduction to preparedness, allow you to begin your own emergency RediPlan®, and provide you with the knowledge and tools to continue preparing yourself and the people most important to you for emergencies.
The EmergencyRedi™ workshop will cover four key areas and help you create a RediPlan®:
1. Get in the know: Learn about local risks, emergency plans, and ways to get help.
2. Get connected: Identify your support network, agree on meeting places with your household, and grow your community.
3. Get organised: Update your insurance, store important documents securely, plan for pets and anyone who relies on you, and safeguard sentimental items.
4. Get packing: Keep an emergency kit packed and ready to go at any moment.
