The Nature Education Project
Second Nature’s home, The Strathalbyn Natural Resource Centre
and our Nature Education Program, are supported by Green Adelaide.
The Objective
To conserve native vegetation and habitat through various project activities.
This project implemented biodiversity on-ground works to continue to buffer and link Ferries MacDonald and Monarto Conservation Parks and to create landscape links with the Lower Lakes.
This project built on more than 5 years of proactive and strategic biodiversity work in the Monarto South area through the improvement and revegetation of remnant bushland on private land.
This project’s activities benefited flora and fauna including the nationally vulnerable Mallee Fowl, Brinkley Wattle (Acacia Rhetinocarpa) and a suite of other conservation significant species.
Our work speaks for itself.Take a look at a selection of our recent projects, crafted with care and designed to make an impact. Each one tells a story of creativity, collaboration, and results.
