Science Week: on native bees

Waverley Library welcomes you to join researcher and PhD student Amelie Vanderstock for the Sydney Science

Did you know Australia is home to over 1700 different bee species? And many of them live in our gardens!
From backyards to bush to community gardens, how can we recognize them and where can we find them?
PhD candidate, Amelie Vanderstock from the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney shares how we can support bees in the city. Amelie is currently researching the role and resilience of native bees in community gardens and bushland in Sydney.
