Native gardening workshop

Join our Wild About You workshops series to unlock the secrets to creating a wildlife friendly neighbourhood.

In this workshop learn how to plant a successful native garden that looks great and provides habitat for our local native animals.

Horticulturist and passionate organic gardener Toni Salter will lead you through:

  • garden design principles
  • choosing local plant species for your garden
  • how to plant, care and maintain your plants

Bring along your questions and photos of your garden to get the advice you're after.

Pick up your free seedlings to help get your garden flourishing.

Look out for other workshops in our Wild About You series and let’s make caring for our wildlife second nature.

Joining Habitat Stepping Stones is another way to get your garden looking great and also working well for wildlife.

For more information about getting involved in greening our local area go to Waverley Council's website.
