Love the Coast Photo Competition


Calling all local amateur photographers with a passion for the coast! Get outdoors, get snapping and enter your inspiring photos in Council’s Love the Coast photo competition to win wonderful prizes.

Your entry (ies) must showcase any of the following:

  • Living Connections –how people connect with local
    nature and/or each other in nature.
  • Natural Landscape – local natural landscape with or without people.

Photos will be judged by acclaimed photographer Paul Blackmore. The best 20 photos will be exhibited at the Waverley Library and online between the 16 January and the 24 February 2021. Winners will be able to take their printed photos home once the photo exhibition is finished.

The competition runs from 1 December 2020 to 4 January 2021. Closing time has been extended to 11.59pm on the 4th of January.

To enter, simply:

  • Email your photo to [email protected] and make the subject "LoveTheCoast". Participants can enter up to 3 photos.
  • Your entry must include a short statement about how your photo showcases any of the above. Images must be taken in the Waverley area, must be submitted on JPEG format and must be of high-quality resolution copy to be used for printing and exhibition purposes (300 DPI, 2mg minimum).

People’s Choice Award

The winner will receive:

  • $200
